About Us

Mad Happy Productions is a Creative Content Collective inspired by women, LGBTQ, mental health awareness and POC stories. We are an inclusive hub for independent voices to tell their stories assisting first time filmmakers from micro-financing to festivals and distribution.

Madison McIntyre is a Multiplatform Producer and Director with over 10 years of experience in developing and producing content for high profile networks and brands. 

 

As a storyteller with an entrepreneurial spirit, Madison's passions are female empowered, LGBQ & coming of age stories that explore taboo topics. At Mad Happy Productions, she oversees fundraising, marketing strategies, festival circuits and distribution in addition to producing and directing.

Her films have screened at 50+ international and domestic festivals including  Atlanta Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, image+nation Fest, Paris International Film Festival, Funcinema, and more.

 

Her directorial debut "Swept Up" competed at the Cannes Student Short Selection Program and  you  can see her other work on HBO, MSNBC, ABC, SHOWTIME, NBC, Amazon Studios and Netflix.

A graduate of DePauw University, McIntyre was an Honors Media Student who earned a B.A. degree in Film and Media Production and Criticism. She also studied International Cinema at The University of Queen Mary, London and is pursuing a Producing Certificate at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

Madison resides in New York City.
